Book on Mr Ferry your ferry from/to Arrecife at the best price

Arrecife is the capital of Lanzarote, a Canary Island in the Atlantic Ocean. The city is located in the central-eastern part of the island and owes its name to the rocky barrier that covers the beach.

The port of Arrecife, originally a fishing port, due to the increasing number of tourists it welcomes every year, became the third most important port of the Canary Islands

The port of Arrecife is also known as the port of "Los Marmoles", offering to passengers many services such as restaurants, cafeterias, shops, grocery stores and pharmacies. Close by the boardings are located car, scooter and bike rentals

From the port is possible to reach the other islands of the Canary archipelago: Gran Canaria and the port of Las Palmas, the port of Santa Cruz de La Palma, the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Fuerteventura. There is also an active connection with the mainland from Arrecife to Cadiz.

Arrecife Port's services

Arrecife is a quiet port town which hosts historical and architectural attractions such as the San Gabriel Castel, originally built as a wooden fortress and eventually replaced by a stone castle, playing a fundamental role in the protection of the town.

Among the main attraction Arrecife offers to its visitors is the El Charco San Ginés, located between Calle Real and Puerto Naos. In the area there is a parking lot, a kids playground and lots of restaurants and bars that serve tapas and typical bocadillos de pescado.

For those who love shopping Calle Leon y Castillo is for sure worth a visit. The main shopping street has some duty free shops, local boutiques and some of the major brands stores.
