Visit the Archaeological Museum to discover the island's ancient prehistoric artefacts. Another village worth a visit is Moudros, considered one of the safest ports in Greece thanks to its conformation, and a few kilometres from the village you can admire the fossil forest.
This corner of paradise is also chosen for its natural mountains and golden sandy beaches. We recommend that you spend your days at sea at the beach of Agios Ioannis, located in the northern area, surrounded by volcanic rocks, it will give you a unique view.
Near Myrina you will find the beach of Riha Nera, particularly suitable for families with babies, easily accessible and with shallow waters.
➔ Every Greek island has its own legend...according to Greek mythology, Samos was the birthplace of Juno, the goddess of marriage and childbirth.
Samos Vathy is the capital, a picturesque village overlooking the small harbour where you will find the local fishermen's boats. Its promenade offers a wide range of services and entertainment, during the day you can enjoy seafood in the charming tavernas, while at night the village comes alive with its nightlife.
