Are you ready to discover one of the most authentic town on the Amalfi Coast? Vietri sul mare is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a true gem in the province of Salerno.
The pretty village has a very ancient history, taking you back to the Etruscan period, since ancient times art and culture kept this island alive.

Visit the famous old town, composed of the delightful intertwining streets, you can admire the handicraft stores, famous for the production of ceramics. The pottery workshops come from an ancient tradition of the town, you will find artifacts with the typical colors of the Mediterranean coast.

When you reach the highest point of the town, you will find the Vietri Cathedral, built for the patron St. John the Baptist. Culture is very much present on the village, in fact on your walk you can find the famous Vietri Ceramics Museum, which was the residence of King Vittorio Emanuele III.

After so much culture you will feel like relaxing on the beach, many beaches are available to you: Baia Beach, with sandy bottom or Crespella Beach with the lovely tower dating back to 1500.

One of the highlights of the entire Amalfi Coast is undoubtedly the cuisine. Try the delicious traditional dishes composed of the fresh fish caught in the area.
One of the most famous dishes is the famous "Piscitielli è Criatur" a dish made with fresh anchovies.
