Kastellorizo ferries About Kastellorizo

The island of Kastellorizo, despite being the farthest from the Greek mainland, is one of the most enchanting.

Remains belonging to the early Neolithic period have been found, later given its location there were several populations to inhabit it. There is also an ancient Paleokastro, the castle of the island, will leave you breathless with its view.

The island is mostly rocky, but you can find several beaches, fascinating are the caves such as the "Blue Cave".  If you want to relax, this is the island for you!

There are many beaches: Mandraki, one of the few sandy beaches on the island. You can reach heavenly beaches aboard small local boats and go diving or snorkelling.
You will find many local taverns, which will delight you with typical dishes and Greek music in the background.
The island is also recognized in the sphere of cinematography and music, in fact the Italian director Salvadores recorded his film on the island. If you stay on the island in August you can see the Beyond Borders festival.
