Kalymnos ferries About Kalymnos

Kalymnos is part of the Dodecanese, and is considered a climbers' paradise, attracted by its countless rock faces, suitable for novices and experienced climbers as well. Divers are also among the main visitors to Kalymnos Island, in fact there are numerous equipped centers on the island. 

If, on the other hand, you are among the lovers of hiking enthusiasts you can tackle the Kalymnos Trail admiring mountain landscapes, ruins, castles and cliffs along the way.

Do you want to enjoy a solitary beach in peace and quiet? Argynota, Gefyra and Palionisos are definitely not to be missed. If you prefer equipped and more popular beaches, however, you can visit Kalamies or Myrties. 

The main villages on the island are Massouri, the most popular with tourists , Pothia and Embrios. To get around the island you can rent a scooter or a car, but also decide to move around using the bus, which connects the island's main beaches. 
Among the main attractions to visit you will find the monastery of Agios Sovvas, The Castle of Chora, the monastery of Agios Panteleimon. Also of interest is the Valsamidis Museum, which houses objects that tell the maritime history of the island.
