Holyhead has excellent railway links across the UK and the main train station is in the same building as the ferry terminal, which makes it very easy to access the boarding if travelling by train.

The port is also easy to get to by car: it is about a 2-hour drive from Chester, Liverpool, and Manchester and 3 hours far from Birmingham.

Bus service is regularly available in the port area.
