The island of Falster, on which Gedser is located, is characterised by long, light sandy beaches, typical of the Danish coastline. The closest is Gedesby beach, ideal for sunbathing and swimming; the beach is also very picturesque in winter, when the snow covers the entire seafront with white.❄
