Ferries Gdynia

The port of Gdynia is a Polish port situated on the Western coast of Gdańsk Bay; it is one of the largest ports in Poland. 

Until 1920, Gdynia was a simple fishing village, until it was chosen for the purpose of creating a base for the military fleet; over the years it has been considerably expanded and modernized, and today it represents an important commercial port.

Gdynia's port serves one ferry connection to Sweden. The ferry from Gdynia to Karlskrona is the only route offered by the Polish port, and it connects the port of Gdynia to the Swedish town of Karlskrona. Stena Line is the ferry company that operates the Gdynia Karlskrona route, providing up to 17 weekly departures all year round. The crossing takes about 10 hours.

The ferry terminal is located inside the port complex; if you are travelling from the city centre, it is a 10-15 minutes drive. Alternatively, you can take the bus from the main railway station, there is a departure every 20 minutes. Free parking lots are available for passengers.

Gdynia is a city in Northern Poland, situated on Gdańsk Bay, on the coast of the Baltic Sea; along with Gdańsk, it is the main seaport of the country. In the port area, you can visit two museum ships and the Emigration Museum. Worth a visit is the Stone Mountain (Kamienna Gora), a hill in the heart of the city from where you can enjoy splendid views over the bay and relax in the surrounding park.

Reaching the ferry terminal by car is possible by using the A1 expressway. One of the easiest ways to get to the Stena Line Terminal is taking the bus from the Gdynia train station to the ferry terminal, thanks to the direct connection provided.
