The islands of the Aeolian archipelago are connected by the ferry company Liberty Lines via fast, recently built hydrofoils. Hydrofoils carry only passengers, not vehicles, so take this into account when planning your holiday. Bicycles cannot be taken on board either, with the exception of folding bikes, which are accepted on board and must be included in the booking.
The cost of the ticket includes a hand luggage of 10 kg. If you want to take more than one piece of luggage with you, you will have to pay a small surcharge. You can add the extra baggage when you make your reservation or add it later. Remember that hydrofoils do not have a hold, so it is forbidden to take bulky luggage such as furniture and large household appliances on board.🧳
Children between 0 and 3 years of age do not pay the ticket, but you must still include them in your booking. Children between the ages of 4 and 11, on the other hand, pay a reduced fare, while when they reach the age of 12 they pay the same as adults.
