From the Croatian city of Porec there are many ferry connections to the city of Piran in Slovenia. You can visit both beautiful destinations in no time at all! On MrFerry you'll find all the offers, timetables, and companies operating the routes.
The Porec Piran route is only operated by the Liberty Lines ferry company, with three weekly departures during the high season in July and August.
🚤 These ferries offer a valid connection between Croatia and Slovenia and vice versa, and you can travel on fast hydrofoils and reach your destination in just a few hours.
The ferry company covers the 27 nautical miles between the two ports in about 50 minutes.
🐕 If you want to take your pet with you, you've come to the right place! The ferries on this route allow pets on board. They will not have access to the ship's communal or dining areas, but there are designated areas on both the outside and inside decks where they can enjoy the crossing.
As they are hydrofoil vessels and not conventional ferries, they are not equipped with a garage for the transport of passengers' motor vehicles, so it will not be possible to travel with a vehicle in tow.
♿ Liberty Lines also provides assistance for passengers with reduced mobility.
Ferries Porec Piran On board services
On the Porec Piran ferry you'll find a range of services to make your crossing pleasant and relaxing. On board there is a snack bar/cafeteria, a lounge with satellite TV, air conditioning, luggage storage and solariums.
Due to the short distance and the use of hydrofoils, the only accommodation available is the deck passage, which does not have an assigned seat but allows you to access different areas of the hydrofoil. You can sit on the seats in the lounges, on the sofas in the common areas, at the bar tables or on the benches outside.
You will need all the necessary documents to board, such as a valid identity card or passport.
🐕 Remember to bring everything you need to board your pet: lead, muzzle, pet carrier, the ticket on which your pet will be travelling and the necessary medical documentation.
