In 1988 Virtu Ferries was founded in Malta, a local ferry company that since then operates a fast service between Malta and Sicily.

The departures Virtuferries provide a year-round transport service for passengers and vehicles on the route Pozzallo - Malta.

Virtu Ferries crossings are operated by one of the largest catamaran in the world. It was built recently and is specially equipped to ensure a relaxed navigation and respect the marine environment.

Virtuferries Fleet and on board services

Virtu Ferries guarantee a fast and convenient connection between Sicily and Malta, either during the day or in the evening. During the short crossing passengers can relax in the restaurant and enjoy a delicious breakfast or a quick snack.

Virtu Ferries offers discounted fares for seniors and young people. On the Virtu Ferries catamaran, the "Standard" seat is included in the fare, but if you choose the "Club Seat" you will have access to the lounge on the upper deck and can embark and disembark with priority.

On board Virtu Ferries ships, pets are allowed on board free of charge  and can travel in the vehicle, in their own cage or on-board kennel on the outside decks. Pets do not have access to public areas and must have a passport and vaccination certificate.   

All passengers are allowed a maximum of 3 pieces of luggage, which must be placed in the luggage compartment. Extra baggages will be accepted upon payment of an additional ticket.
