Lineas Romero was founded in 1930 and was established as the first postal mail shipping company that connected La Graciosa Island with Lanzarote in the Canary Archipelago.
The business was later inherited by his daughter Juana, who married Juan Romero, from whom the current name of the company is derived, and in 1970 they decided together to expand the services offered.
Today, the 3 ferries Lineas Romero operate an extensive network of connections between the islands of Fuerteventura, Lanzarote and La Graciosa. Romero Lines is not only recognized for the optimal service offered but also for its commitment to the environment and promoting sustainable tourism.
Lineas Romero Fleet and on board services
Lineas Romero departures are scheduled from the island of Lanzarote, from the port of Playa Blanca, to the island of Fuerteventura, port of Corralejo, and from the island of Lanzarote, from the port of Órzola to the island of La Graciosa, port of Caleta de Sebo.
Lineas Romero ferry crossings are guaranteed throughout the year and are intensified during the summer season from May to October. Lineas Romero crossings are very frequent and usually scheduled during the day.
No vehicles are embarked aboard Lineas Romero ships, only passengers. It is possible to embark bicycles, surfboards, luggage and pets at no additional cost.
On the Lineas Romero fast boats, passengers have access to a snack bar, toilets, free wifi, an indoor lounge and additional seating on the upper outdoor deck, from which passengers can admire the Canary Sea throughout the crossing.
