It will be essential to declare the need for disembarkation/embarkation assistance at least 48 hours prior to departure. There are cabins with disabled access on board, which you will need to request at the time of booking. 

🐾 Traveling by ferry with my pet:

Don't leave anyone at home for this trip! Your pet is welcome aboard DFDS ferries and must be entered at the time of booking. Pets (excluding guide dogs) are not allowed in the passenger areas of the ship. DFDS regulations regarding transporting your pet vary depending on the crossing you choose. On most ferries you can book a Pet-Friendly cabin while on shorter crossings you can leave your four-legged friend in the comfort of your car.
