CTN Tunisia ferries All departures and offers on Mr Ferry!
The shipping company CTN Tunisia Ferries, also known as Cotunav, was founded in 1959 and established the first connections between Tunisia and France, which were later extended to Italy, Spain, Holland and Germany.
Initially, the CTN fleet, which consisted mainly of cargo ships, was engaged in freight transport, but over time new ferries were purchased and Cotunav maritime connections were introduced for passengers and vehicles, encouraging the development of tourism and the Tunisian economy.
At the end of the 1990s, the company initiated a major restructuration of its fleet, and a few years later decided to abandon the northern European routes in order to focus more on the Mediterranean routes and establish regular crossings between Tunisia and its main trading partners.
