Adria Ferries was founded in 2004 and since that time has offered a direct connection between Italy and Albania. The service operates year-round, with departures several times a week from the ports of Ancona and Bari and direct to Durres and vice versa, creating a stable bridge between the ports.
Ancona - Durres: during the low season period the route runs 3 times a week, generally on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Durres - Ancona: during the low season period the route is operated 3 times a week, generally on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
During the high season period, however, the company guarantees daily departures from both ports. Departures are always nightly with a travel time of about 16 hours.
Bari - Durres - Bari: daily night departures are guaranteed all year round, while daytime departures are supplemented in summer. The crossing takes about 8 hours.

How far in advance of departure do I have to check in?
All passengers must compulsorily check in in order to board.
