The route from Valle Gran Rey to SS de La Gomera runs 2 times a day and takes 1 hour and 10 minutes. Approximately halfway through, a short stopover is made at Playa de Santiago without transshipment.

Why traveling by ferry from Valle Gran Rey to San Sebastián?

You'll only have to take a quick look at the lay of the island of La Gomera to realize that road travel is certainly not a piece of cake! The travel time by car between the two locations is longer than the sea crossing. The road, although scenic, is quite winding and reaches an altitude of almost 1500 meters! Therefore, the ferry may be the best way to reach San Sebastián: you will have the opportunity to arrive directly in the capital of La Gomera in 70 minutes, comfortably seated inside the ferry or enjoying the sun and the view on the upper deck!

IMPORTANT: Vehicles are not allowed on the ferries from San Sebastián to Valle Gran Rey, except for bicycles! However, their presence must be indicated when booking and places are limited.
