The Egadi Islands are located west of Sicily, and the archipelago consists of three main islands and a few islets.
Favignana and Levanzo, two of the three main islands, are connected by sea.

There are two shipping companies that operate year-round connections for the Favignana Levanzo route: Liberty Lines and Siremar.

Liberty Lines offers the sea crossing from Favignana to Levanzo with up to ten departures per day. The duration of the hydrofoil (high-speed boat) connection is ten minutes.

Siremar offers up to fourteen departures per week, depending on the season, with a sailing time of about 20 minutes.

Levanzo, the smallest island in the Egadi archipelago, surprises with its authenticity and beauty. The “Grotta del Genovese” is the symbol of the island and represents the prehistoric period of the area.
It is the destination par excellence for scuba diving enthusiasts.

Discover the many coves and beaches of Levanzo and admire the rich ecosystem of the seabed. Particularly noteworthy are Faraglione beach and the coves of Cala Fredda and Cala Minnola.
At the tables of the various restaurants and cafés, sample tasty traditional Sicilian dishes such as Cabuccio alla Levanzara, a sandwich stuffed with meat or fish.

Liberty Lines hydrofoils cannot carry vehicles, only pedestrians.
In addition, the ticket includes a carry-on luggage with dimensions that vary depending on the company chosen. There is an additional charge for extra luggage, which will be paid directly at the port.

On board the ferries, the only possible accommodation is the simple deck passage, with no assigned seat, and allows you to sit on the lounge chairs, on the sofas in the common areas, or at the bar tables.

If you wish to take your vehicle with you, you must book a departure on the ferries of the Siremar shipping company.

During the ferry crossing from Favignana to Levanzo, you will find on-board services such as an air-conditioned lounge with comfortable seats, toilets, luggage storage, and bar/cafeteria.

Ferries on the route are equipped for people with reduced mobility. If you need assistance, please contact us, and we will forward your request to the ground and on-board staff.

Pets are welcome on board the Favignana Levanzo vessels, but are not allowed in the indoor lounge. In the outdoor areas, you can find areas to stay with your four-legged friends.
