The route Porto Empedocle - Linosa connects the small island of Linosa to the southern coasts of Sicily.

Ferries run all year round with a night-time departure from Saturday to Thursday.

Four additional weekly departures in hydrofoil are available in summer.

The Siremar ferries allows passengers to leave at night and arrive in the morning, providing all comforts during the crossing. The duration is around 7 hours. Passengers can spend their journey in internal or external cabins with private facilities, comfortable seats in a reserved area and use all the onboard service, such as the restaurant and the bar/cafeteria. Pets are allowed in kennel or on a leash in dedicated areas; some ferries may also be equipped with special pet-friendly cabins. No baggage limit is applied.

The Liberty Lines hydrofoils reach Linosa in only 3 hours with a daily departure in the afternoon. The company offer reserved seats, toilet facilities and sometimes a small bar service. Pets are allowed on a leash or in small cages provided by the passenger. One piece of hand luggage per passengers is included in the ticket; any luggage exceeding in number or size can be booked or added directly at the port at a small fare.
